Chipmunks!

             I am sooooo excited!!! We got to go see chipmunks last weekend!  I don't remember going last year, but this year, I got to feed (and chase!) chipmunks!
             We went on a long trip (not as long as an airport trip) up a mountain to an old town called Saint Elmo. We walked around (well, I got to sit in the stroller, but I really wanted to get out and walk!) and saw lots of trees called "asbens" and old buildings. Mommy said it's called a "goes town" but I don't know where the town goes!
              After we got done walking around, we went and sat on the wood pile where the chipmunks live! Mommy says we came last year too, but I don't remember that! I had sooooo much fun trying to give the chipmunks food (they just kept running away from me!).  Since they didn't want to eat the food I had, I decided to chase them! "IIIIIII'm gonna get you!!!" I shouted! But they still ran ;(

My New "Spot"

        Yesterday I discovered a new place to put things! And it's bigger than my belly button! Last week I discovered that I could pull mu shirt up and stick things in my belly button....but then I found a BIGGER place. Something SO BIG I could throw anything in there!
        .....And....then I got in trouble. Apparently sticking things in the toilet is a no-no, but I don't know why. It kind of looks like the washing machine when you pull the shiny handle, but Mommy stopped me before I had a chance to try it out on Josiah's pajamas.....
              Today I had tons of fun throwing things in there after Mommy and me came home from shopping! I loved hearing the *splash* as things fell in. Too bad Mommy didn't. Everyone else gets to lift the lid on the potty, so why can't I? I know I'm not allowed to drink the water, but why can't I give things a bath in it? Maybe next time I'll climb in and give myself a bath.....

    

I Got Stuck!

  This weekend was Amber's birthday! (I wish it were mine-I want presents!) I helped get ready Saturday morning by pulling out Amber's tea party stuff. Then, I went into Mommy's room and she helped get the teapot off my arm. See, I stuck a spoon in there, and it wouldn't come out, so I stuck my hand in to grab it, but once I grabbed it, I couldn't get my hand out! It was stuck!
    Mommy wasn't much help at first. She just laughed and took pictures. When she was done, she told me to let go of the spoon. Yeah, right. I'm trying to get it out of the tea pot. So Mommy reached in and pried my fingers from the spoon. I was so sad! After she pulled my arm out, she shook the spoon out! I was so amazed!

I Came, I Saw, I Slept!

    I got to fly on an airplane! Twice! I slept most of the time, though, so I didn't get to look out the window too much, but it was so neat!  Apparently this magical machine transports us to where my grandparents live! (I must find ways to use it often!)  We spent alot of time with our family (people I've never met before!), and saw so many new and exciting things!  Then, we used a magical airplane to go back home!
   The house the airplanes live in were kind of boring.  I wasn't allowed out of the stroller, but we got to ride in silver shiny boxes that are kind of like airplanes-you go in, the door closes, it moves, and when the door opens, you're somewhere different!
   Mommy took a lot of pictures of me sleeping on our trip-you would think that's all I did!  Mommy and Daddy let me use Amber's pretty pink carseat, but when we got home, I wasn't allowed to sit in it anymore ;(

Trash Pickin'

   I don't know why, but Mommy and Daddy sure get upset when I try to help.  I like to lift the lid and look in the tall white thing in the kitchen.  I like to see what Mommy and Daddy put in there.  Sometimes, there's food.  Sometimes, I eat the food.  I get in trouble when I do this :-(  I don't know why-I'm just trying to feed myself so Mommy and Daddy won't have to do it later.  I really am trying to help.  Sometimes, there's neat, shiny stuff.  Sometimes, there's paper.  Today, it was watermelon.  It still tasted good, so I ate some... Then I ran away with it.  Mommy chased me down.  She scolded me for taking it.  I almost cried!
   I saw Daddy take the bag out today.  It was full.  He didn't come back inside afterwards. (I'm pretty sure he's taking it to work and eating all the stuff Mommy won't let me eat.)  I helped Mommy by putting the lid back on.  She took it off, though, to put an empty bag in....and fix the lid.  I sure hope I see some more yummy stuff in there.  I really, really am trying to help...

Garden!

   Did I mention how much I love gardening?? Well, I'm not really sure how to garden....I just love eating the dirt and playing in the water!  Today the Poncha Springs Community garden had their second Children's Garden class.  This week we learned how to make soil...we used something called "sheep mulch", but I'm pretty sure mulch wasn't the right word.  Mommy said it was poop.  Mah-nu-er was another word I heard.  It all tasted good.  I'm not sure what the big fuss was about. Dirt's dirt, right?

Intro Post

Hi! I'm Malachi!  When I entered the world on April 19th, 2011, I almost fell face-first into a toilet!!! No kidding!!!
    Luckily, my friend, Mr. Mike, was there to catch me in one of Nina's bath towels.  Mommy was not as freaked out as she should've been.  Instead of holding me right away, she texted Nane' & the world about my intro.
    A year and a half later, here I am writing my own blog!  Sometimes life isn't always fun, so I do my best to make sure it is!!! Right now my favorite things include mealtimes (food is sooooooo yummy!!!), visiting the garden (dirt is yummy too!) and bathtime (I loooooooove playing in water!!!).
    Follow along as I share the exciting adventures that Josiah, Amber & I come up with!!! This is gonna be fun!!!
